Newport Beach Ranks as Most Expensive U.S. Real Estate Market

Coldwell Banker's Home Listing Report is the latest development designed to provide comprehensive information on real estate data from around the country for homebuyers and sellers.  The report shows the average home listing price of more than 18,000 four bed, two bath properties on coldwellbanker.com that were listed between February and August 2010.  Nearly 300 US markets were surveyed, and the average listing price from them all was $353,000.

The report found Orange County's Newport Beach to be the most expensive real estate market in America, with an average home listing price of approximately $1.83 million for property listings meeting the subject home criteria.

"Owning a home in Orange County is the single most attractive home-owning prospect in the US, period"  Tom Iovenitti, President CBRB
